Call them the essentials, the fundamentals, the basics — the humanities, social sciences, physical sciences, and mathematics are critical to understanding the world and our place in it. These subjects constitute the foundation of any well-rounded education, which is exactly what Lipscomb delivers. The largest of Lipscomb’s 10 colleges, our College of Liberal Arts & Sciences will provide you with the fundamental core to our Christian liberal arts curriculum. You’ll be given rigorous academics combined with hands-on learning and practical experiences that will enhance your critical-thinking skills and allow you to explore your passions further. In our state-of-the art labs, professional-style theaters and technologically advanced classrooms (not to mention internships, research projects and travel abroad opportunities), you’ll apply what you’re learning as you’re learning it. And by choosing one of our career-track programs, you will dive deeper into a particular area of study to pursue the unique work to which God is calling you.
